Prospero had a dream – at last he’s going to discover how to turn ordinary metal into pure gold. So, when a pair of tramps (= Landstreicher) turn up at his door, telling him they have a rare stone that will give him this power, he jumps at the chance to buy it. He’s going to be rich! But surely, it’s not as simple as that. Travel back in time with us to find out…

The English Theatre Group has become a valued part of school life over the past few years. The group includes students from grades 5, 6, and 7 who love performing. Our next play will take place on May 4th and 5th at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.

When Beth and her friends go to audition at the Globe Theatre, they don’t expect to be spirited back to the year 1600. Plague is sweeping London and Shakespeare’s company needs young actors. But is Tim a good choice to play Juliet? And can Beth, Hailey, Tim, Mary and Alice prevent murder most foul as a jealous rival plots his revenge? Travel back in time with us to find out…

Class 7 goes on a trip to Fenimore Castle, which hides a secret.

During the tour, some pupils get lost and suddenly find themselves in the year 1552. On their search for the way back, they experience several adventures …

Liebe Eltern, liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, liebe Schülerinnen und Schüler,

zu unseren diesjährigen Theateraufführungen laden wir Sie/euch herzlich ein. Es erwartet Sie/euch ein Zeitstück mit märchenhaften Elementen.

Kurzinformafion zum Stück

Das Märchen: Ein armes Mädchen wird dem „Bösen“ versprochen, doch seine Tugendhaftigkeit macht es moralisch unantastbar, nicht jedoch für die Gewalt des Vaters. Nachdem das Mädchen beide Hände verloren hat, wendet es sich vom Elternhaus ab und sucht sein Glück in der Ferne.

Das Leben von Krista verläuft wie ein Märchen. Sie ist begabt, sehr begabt, und ihre Eltern opfern sich auf für ihre Tochter und ihr vermeintlich sagenhaftes Talent. Doch aus erzwungenem Fleiß und gequälter Mühe wird blanker Hass.

Ein Märchen. Ein armes Ding. Ein Wunderkind. Ein Traum. Ein Alptraum.
